Welcome to my Election 2008 website. My name is Mike Villalta and I want to be your mayor. I believe that we will be living a very long time with the results of decisions made by our present elected officials, and - given the fiscal challenges faced by not only our city, but more specifically each one of Los Banos' citizens - my votes cast while on council are made deliberately, researched to the best of my ability. The responsibility of a mayor is to provide the leadership, and help set the course of action for Los Banos and how it will appear and function for the benefit of its citizens now and in the future.
